Still, you have to give the old guy credit for throwing a pretty good Too Tall Jones forearm shiver, and you have to take away credit for Garcia staggering from a hit by an old guy with no pads on who isn't even running directly at him.

Apparently LSU should have been flagged for having 12 men on the field, because that ref clearly went after the QB. It wasn't a case of defending himself from a possible accidental hit; had the ref stopped in his tracks, Garcia would have run right by him easily. Instead, he actually picks up speed and lunges forward to deliver the hit. I think either someone had a flashback to his playing days and forgot what uniform he's wearing now or someone had some cash down on the Tigers. :D
