Prison Blues vs Orange Jumpsuits: Revenge of the Tinkler!

Okay kids, there's a problem with the Official Scoreboard. Terrence Kiel got arrested for pissing in public (yet another athlete with a case of the tinkles, like Martin Truex, Jr. and Dontrelle Willis) outside of the strip club. By my count that makes it 10-6 in favor of the Bengals this season.

HOWEVER, this apparently this is the 8th Chargers arrest since April. Now, I know I just started at the beginning of training camp, but should I go back and count it from January 1, 2006, until after the Super Bowl? That'd make it 11-8 Bengals, not an insurmountable deficit but still a good cushion. What do you guys think I should do?

Check the scoreboard before deciding.

I'm not sure we can count the Foley arrest. That one sounded to me like some very overzealous cop who should have his gun and badge taken away for good. I'm a cop in real life and thought the whole thing stunk bad.

Joab, I'm not commenting on the arrest or the viability. The simple fact that they got arrested is enough to make the list, whether or not they deserved it.

All said, Terrence Kiel was probably smart to piss outside the strip club rather than inside it. It's probably cleaner.

I'd say the count should go from training camp until the Pro Bowl, which is technically the entire football season. Any arrests in 2006 that came before then could be used in the possibility that a tiebreaker is needed.

Heh, nice to see a fellow officer around, even if I'm only a reserve officer, but still. But yeah, Joab, in my precinct, that cop would've been hearing from Internal Affairs and the chief.

However, Ron is counting arrest action only. He's not adding the indictment at all.

So you're using arrest quantity, not quality. And Kiel's intelligence in pissing is noted, which leads me to wonder if perhaps the Chargers were smarter thugs than the Bengals. I mean, can't Chris Henry get college girls or adults? Does he have to go swimming in the kiddie pool for girls?
