I think Jesus is the only person who wouldn’t eat everything in the medicine chest for enough money so that your children’s children would never have to work a day in their lives, and that’s only because Jesus didn’t have kids. I do find it funny that a former steroid user and baseball’s biggest critic among active players accidentally has his positive test for amphetamines leaked to the media only a few short days after his vocal demand for an apology from Major League Baseball concerning the juice situation.

According to Peter Gammons, one of the few souls left at ESPN whose opinion I trust, the amphetamines story is unproven, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true, although I would actually find it amusing if "that stuff" that Giambi referred to was actually greenies and not 'roids.

What I also find surprising is that more players haven't tested positive for amphetamines, since they have actually been the MLB drug o'choice for decades. Then again, if I recall right, the first positive isn't made public--unless you piss off Bud and his pals, that is.
